1How do I apply for a job at CVPT?

We are happy that you have found a vacancy that matches your profile and competences. You now have to register as a user in our online application system. The “I’m Interested” button in each job posting takes you through our online application process step-by-step. Here, you will be asked to fill in your personal contact details and attach your CV / resume and other relevant documents.

2 I am already registered as a user in CVPT database - can I apply for an open job posting?

Yes! You can. Simply just log in to your profile and apply for the vacancy from there.

3Who can apply for a position at CVPT?

At CVPT, we embrace diversity. We encourage everyone to apply for our job openings, no matter who you are or what your background is. So if you see an opening that fits with your skills and competencies, don't hold back.

4 Where do I find available positions?

5 When can I expect to hear from you?

The recruitment process usually takes around 4 to 8 weeks. You will hear from us within 6 weeks.

6I still have some questions that I need answers to. How can I get in touch?

You can always send questions related to the recruitment process to the contact person listed in the job posting. If there is nobody listed in the posting, you can also get in touch with the right contact person via the about us page.

7 After many job applications, I have neither been shortlisted nor interviewed?

This could be for any number of reasons. Sometimes clients are specific about industry sector experience. For example, they might have told us that they only want to see candidates with a certain amount of automotive industry experience.

It could also be based on the information we hold on you, whereby we don’t think that you would be interested in the role. For example, if you told us that you were looking for a minimum of 5,000,000 and the vacancy is paying 3,000,000. If in doubt then please call and we can double check. Rest assured if The Recruitment Solution can put you forward for a position, we will do so!

The number of vacancies available is relatively small when compared to the number of job seekers. As result, competition is significant.

You may be applying for wrong jobs. Kindly ensure the job that you are applying matches your skillsets and level of experience, education that you have.

You may think if you apply for every job, you will eventually get one. This strategy does not work! CVPeople Tanzania is tasked by the recruiter to finding the best person for the job, rather than any person who can do the job.

Your CV may be poor or contains many errors that eliminate you from being considered.

8 I have been put forward for a job vacancy by CVPeople Tanzania and want to apply for another job vacancy through your website, is this possible?

Of course! You can apply and be put forward for as many roles as we consider you suitable for. If you get an offer from more than one client, then the decision will be yours as to which one you accept.

9 Will CVPeople Tanzania send my CV to clients without contacting me?

No NEVER! We only present your details to a client after we have spoken to you about the vacancy, the company and received your permission to do so.

10 I have applied for a vacancy and I have not been contacted- why is this?

We acknowledge all applications via e-mail, if we think that you are suitable for the role then we will contact you to discuss the role within 2 working days. If we have not contacted you by then it could be that we felt you were unsuitable for the role or that we have not received your CV.

11 If my application for a vacancy through The CVPeople Tanzania is rejected, can you provide me with the hiring company’s name?

I’m afraid not! As we provide a confidential service to both client and candidate, we simply can’t divulge such information.
